Flatoril 500 para que sirve
Flatoril is composed of clebopride (an antiemetic and prokinetic) and simethicone (an antiflatulent), and belongs to the group of drugs for gastrointestinal functional disorders called propellants. It prevents gas formation and stimulates gastrointestinal motility which helps to expel gas from the stomach and intestine.
Cases of acquired methemoglobinemia (blood disorder affecting its ability to carry oxygen) due to orthopramides (group of drugs to which Flatoril belongs) have been described in newborns.
There is insufficient information available on the use of this drug in pregnant women and whether it is excreted in breast milk. For this reason, as a precautionary measure, it is preferable to avoid its use during pregnancy, especially during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
– For the preventive treatment of excess gas in radiological examinations of the gastrointestinal tract: 1 capsule (500 micrograms of clebopride and 200 mg of simethicone) 2 hours before the test.

Moreover, I can tell you my case. 4 months taking flatoril by medical prescription, withdrawn from one day to another and with some anxiety crises, panic and half depression from which I am still recovering.even to the psychiatrist I had to go and he told me that it is indeed a psychopharmaceutical with an anxiolytic and antidepressant component that must be left gradually.does it say that somewhere in the prospectus.be very carefulPD: By the way I am still waiting for a response from the pharmacist to whom I asked about these effects.
Okay, very useful and appreciated…but without demonizing, I say.Everything has its why, the problem is the «over-use» that we patients often do.I have that drug, but I do not take it practically never. Why do I take it? I suffer from irritable colon, sometimes stressful situations (as simple as planning a trip with little time) cause me a state of very hard colitis (the stools are not hard, on the contrary, what is hard is the symptomatology and duration…sometimes more than a week in a row… without stopping…). If it were not for medications like this, I would run the risk of dehydration, I could not work or do a minimum of life … That if, when an episode comes, I wait a couple of days, if I can overcome it with deep breathing … if there is no way, pills a couple of days at most and all ready.
