Se casó con Fernando Díaz de Mendoza, marqués de San Mamés, en 1896, y al año siguiente el matrimonio se trasladó a Buenos Aires, Argentina. Su éxito comercial en el Teatro Odeón local, sus producciones de zarzuelas y adaptaciones de clásicos de la literatura española (especialmente de Lope de Vega) llevaron a su compañía a teatros de todo el país. Manteniendo sus obligaciones contractuales en España, el matrimonio compró el Teatro de la Princesa de Madrid en 1908. En 1918, el matrimonio destinó una parte de su fortuna a la construcción de un nuevo y gran teatro en Buenos Aires. El proyecto llamó la atención tanto de la alta sociedad local como del rey de España, Alfonso XIII, que colaboró en su construcción encargando material artesanal para el teatro, bautizado en honor al legendario novelista y dramaturgo español Miguel de Cervantes[2].
El Teatro Cervantes se inauguró en 1921 con una producción de La dama boba de Lope de Vega. Sin embargo, la proliferación de teatros en Buenos Aires y la llegada de la radio a Argentina pronto mermaron la audiencia del Cervantes y, en 1926, el matrimonio se vio obligado a subastar la institución, que fue adquirida por el gobierno argentino. Regresaron entonces a Madrid, donde Guerrero murió en 1928, a la edad de 60 años[2].
