Orange is the new black temporada 7 reparto

Orange is the new black season 3

Piper Chapman is introduced as a woman whose past with a drug dealer leads her to serve a 15-month sentence in Litchfield Prison. In her confinement she discovers the stories of other women who have suffered the same fate as her, offering us a portrait of different personalities, ethnicities and cultures that coexist in a complex and sometimes dangerous environment.
Despite its context and approach, this production cannot be pigeonholed as a prison drama, as many of its most iconic moments fall within the comedy, showing us a serious but at the same time lighthearted atmosphere, which brings an unmistakable identity to the series.
The creator, Jenji Kohan (Weeds), read the memoirs of Piper Kerman, author of the book on which Orange is the New Black is based, and proposed an adaptation. Based on this premise, the filmmaker has recognized that the character has served her as a Trojan Horse to tell stories and aspects of other roles that are not usually represented on television.
